1. Noah’s Ark Waterpark – Best Overall Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells
If you’re looking for the best waterpark in Wisconsin Dells, look no further. Noah’s Ark is the largest waterpark in America and the clear #1 in Wisconsin Dells. It has something for everyone—from massive thrill slides like Scorpion’s Tail to wave pools, lazy rivers, and kid-friendly areas. There’s a reason Noah’s Ark consistently lands in the top three on Newsweek Reader’s top outdoor waterparks in the US, coming in at #1 in 2024 and #3 in 2025. It simply has the best rides in the Dells.

Why It’s #1:
- Over 70 attractions, including Raja and Black Anaconda
- Two giant wave pools
- Family rides, thrill slides, and splash zones for all ages
- Free parking and coolers allowed

2. Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park – Best Combo of Water and Coasters
Mt. Olympus has come a long ways from its Big Chiefs Karts and Coasters origins. When I visited as a kid, it was known for its wooden rollercoasters and massive go-kart tracks. While those are still there, they’ve spent the past decade ramping up their water attractions. Today, you’ll find waterslides, massive wave pools, and rollercoasters all in one. While some areas could use an update, the value is hard to beat. You can find tickets as cheap as $5 in the offseason, (just be prepared for the $40 parking).

Why it’s the #2 best waterpark in Wisconsin Dells:
- Outdoor and indoor waterparks included
- Rollercoasters and go-karts on site
- Massive wave pool and multi-story slides
- Free admission for resort guests
3. Wilderness Resort – Best For Families Who Want Options
Wilderness is a local favorite thanks to its multiple indoor and outdoor waterparks, all connected to a large resort. The variety makes it a great choice for families with kids of different ages. There’s a low-key wave pool waterpark with a swim-up hot tub for adults, and Wilderness on the Lake has an outdoor pool and hot tub with lake views. Lost World outdoor waterpark is my personal favorite, with a good mix of chill and adventure slides and the best lazy river in the Dells.

Why It’s #3:
- 4 indoor and 4 outdoor waterparks
- Dedicated toddler play areas and thrill rides
- Indoor wave pool and lazy river
- Tons of resort amenities like mini-golf and arcades
Note: The hot tubs here are a little cooler than others.
4. Kalahari Resorts – Best Indoor Waterpark for those 21+
Kalahari has the largest indoor waterpark in the Dells and one of the best swim-up bars in the Midwest. It’s luxurious, adult-friendly, and packed with amenities. The best part about their indoor swim-up hot tub bar is that it actually feels like a HOT tub (looking at you Wilderness). While it has less options than the above waterparks, the overall quality is the best. They are also expanding the massive indoor waterpark to be even bigger in 2026, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see them sliding up the list then.

Why It’s #4:
- Massive indoor waterpark open year-round
- 21+ swim-up bar and indoor hot tub
- FlowRider surf simulator and raft rides
- Excellent restaurants and spa on-site
5. Land of Natura – Best Alternative Waterpark in the Dells
Land of Natura is the newest entry and the most unique. Instead of plastic slides, it offers natural lagoon swimming and floating water obstacles. It’s great for families and nature lovers looking for something different.

Why It’s #5:
- 6-acre natural lagoon and floating watercourse
- Giant inflatable play structures
- Sand beach, hiking, and nature-based fun
- Eco-friendly and locally owned
Conclusion: Which Wisconsin Dells Waterpark Is Right for You?
So what’s the best waterpark in Wisconsin Dells? If you want the biggest and best overall, start with Noah’s Ark. For variety and value, Mt. Olympus and Wilderness are solid picks. Adults looking for luxury should go with Kalahari, while Land of Natura offers something new and outdoorsy.
